In The Garden
Hi everyone! I hope you're all enjoying Spring as much as we have been. One of the funnest things we've been doing lately is growing a garden. Well - Daddy and Nathan are growing a garden. Mommy is cheering them on. I don't exactly have a green thumb. They're growing corn, tomatoes, squash, zucchini, eggplant, carrots, peppers, watermelon and canteloupe. Everything is doing really well and so far we've gotten to eat and enjoy squash, zucchini, and peppers. I can't wait to try everything else. I'm so excited about going organic that I think I might just take it to the next level and do the same with my grocery list. We'll see - I'm a cheapskate so that may be wishful thinking. Maybe at least milk and meat.
Here's a few pics of the progress...

She looks like big brother to me! Excuse the bed head!

Smiling for mama!
Sleeping in her big girl crib! She loves her Miracle Blanket (thanks Aunt Rita and Uncle Justin!)
My babies are the cutest! :-)

My How He's Grown
Nathan is on the verge of turning 5 years old - I can't believe it. Erin and I took a trip to Zilker Botanical Gardens the other day to see if we could get some cute photos of the kiddos. It was a little trip down memory lane for me. I'm sure you all remember this photo...

Here we are almost exactly 4 years later!

Here's another memorable photo for me...
And here's today's version...It's hard to get those adorable little innocent smiles these days. He's a rough and tumble boy. He's still my baby though and I'm so proud of what an awesome big brother he's turning out to be. Lauren was there too in spirit!
I love you Gator Bear and Momma's very proud of you, big boy!

Long Overdue Post!
We've been busy! I know it's no excuse but we really have! :-) Raising a baby is a lot of work!
Lauren is doing wonderful. She is such an easy baby and we are so blessed to be her family. Nathan is doing great as well. He is now registered for kindergarten in the fall and is SO excited. I'm excited for him too and I can't wait for the next adventure with him. He's still my baby boy though and I'm a little sad too.
We've just been enjoying our time at home (me especially). I miss work a little but not too much. I've stayed in touch with my boss and I'm actually going to start doing a little part time from home in June. It will be good to get my feet wet before I have to really get back to the grind in July.
Anyway - I know the whole point of this blog is show off pictures so here you go...
